  • Requesting and checking information and quotations from companies and trustees
  • Collating and analysis of data in excel spreadsheets and other data collection services
  • Preparing minutes from client and team meetings
  • Analysis of overdue diary entries to actively reduce team delays
  • Preparation of full New Business Investment Reports and other reports as directed
  • Request, prepare and interpret complex pension information under direction, with a view to completing analysis for pension switching and occupational pension transfers.
  • Identification and chasing of information missing from that requested
  • Assisting FPT, SFPT and AET in the completion of their duties
  • Answering the telephone and speaking to clients and IFA’s in providing solutions or redirecting
  • Production and checking of both simple and complex Financial Planning Reports from template
  • Production and upkeep of suitability templates as directed
  • Provision and checking of chargeable gain, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax and other financial computations under direction
  • Assist in the preparation of research for our independent centralised research list
  • Prepare research projects on products and investments under direction


  • Possess the Certificate in Financial Planning
  • Commitment to progress in studies to complete Diploma in Financial Planning
  • A good understanding of the financial planning process
  • Excellent written and numerical skills
  • Aptitude in the use and application of word and excel files
  • Experience of using Avelo and/or Intelliflo CRM systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all that you do
  • An ability to be able to work independently and deliver to timescales
