  • Prepare and deliver necessary documentation to IFAs for auto enrolment proposition, adhering to necessary internal SLAs and external deadlines
  • Acts as a point of reference for IFAs in order to assist them with workplace pension queries
  • Be willing to attend auto enrolment meetings with IFAs, in order to act as a technical auto enrolment expert for client queries
  • Take ownership over specific workplace pension cases, ensuring that all elements are covered and prepared
  • Liaise where necessary with all the relevant stakeholders connected to the workplace pension scheme, such as IFAs, employers, payroll, TPR and employees
  • Research and review, where necessary, new and existing legislation and technical/product information to aid in the role that is performed
  • Communicate with IFAs coherently on a regular basis, in order to gather sufficient information on client cases, and updating on case progress
  • Maintaining and developing knowledge and technical understanding of all financial planning concepts, through personal management of own CPD


  • Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum qualification requirement
  • Demonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in workplace pensions and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reports
  • Experience in an IFA environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedback
  • A high standard of written and numerical skills
  • An ability to demonstrate strong report writing skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude in Microsoft Office

Key Risk Responsibilities:

  • Completion of assigned tasks, ensuring that SLAs are adhered to
  • Delivery of accurate and thorough research and documentation to IFAs
  • Contribution into technical and regulatory development of IFAs and/or staff on a specific case basis
  • Thorough research conducted where necessary and referring to senior team members, where necessary
